The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing tomato with improved sweetness and tomato with improved sweetness manufactured by thereof and more specifically, an objective is to provide the method for manufacturing tomato that improves sweetness of the tomato while being good for health; and the tomato with improved sweetness manufactured by thereof. The present invention for thereof comprises: (S10) a step of manufacturing a mixture liquid by mixing a sweetener comprising stevioside and water; (S21) a step of immersing tomato in the mixture liquid filled inside an accommodating container disposed inside a chamber; (S20) an immersion and pressurization step comprising (S22) a step of injecting gas inside the chamber so that a pressure inside the chamber becomes 100-300 kPa and maintaining for a predetermined time; and (S30) a post-processing step of washing and drying the tomato.
