The invention discloses a preparation method of a high-purity cannabinol crystal, which comprises the following steps: taking acetone as an extracting agent for extracting a crude cannabinol extract from cannabis sativa floral leaf powder, removing organic compounds containing carboxylic acid and esters in the crude cannabinol extract in advance by adopting processes such as decarboxylation and saponification, and then extracting by adopting normal hexane to obtain a refined cannabinol product. The cannabinol refined product is purified through a low-pressure macroporous resin column and a low-pressure fine resin column in sequence, and finally the cannabinol refined grease is subjected to decoloration treatment by adopting activated carbon and a petroleum ether solvent, so that impurities in the cannabinol refined grease are further reduced, and a large amount of impurities are removed in the early stage, so that the purity of the cannabinol refined grease is improved. Therefore, the number of subsequent crystallization processes is reduced, and cannabinol with the purity of about 99% can be obtained, namely, compared with the prior art, the method is simple in process flow, small in target substance loss amount and thorough in impurity removal, and the yield and the purity of cannabinol are improved.
