The invention discloses an environment-friendly wall coating with a formaldehyde purification function, and relates to the technical field of wall coatings, the environment-friendly wall coating comprises the following raw materials by weight: 60-75% of natural fiber, 10-15% of lignocellulose, 5-10% of a nanometer negative ion liquid, 5-10% of a water-soluble vegetable gum and 5-10% of a water-based acrylic emulsion, the sum of the weight percentages of the raw materials is 100%, and the raw materials are water-based acrylic emulsion. The natural fibers comprise wood fibers, bamboo fibers, cotton fibers and hemp fibers, and the content of the bamboo fibers in the natural fibers is at least 40%. The invention has the following beneficial effects: 1, the aqueous acrylic emulsion directly introduces acetoacetic acid group derivatives to latex particles through emulsion polymerization, protects and fixes active hydrogen capable of eliminating formaldehyde, and can realize efficient and long-term formaldehyde removal effect in a film; 2, the negative ion liquid of the nanoscale material can release a large number of negative ions, the negative ions have the effects of sterilizing and decomposing cancerogens such as formaldehyde and benzene, the decomposed products are non-toxic and odorless carbon dioxide and water, and indoor pollutants are reduced;
