The special rooting agent of the invention aims to overcome the problems that conventionalrooting agents used in the plantation of industrial hemp have slow rooting speed, poor adhesion and poor stress resistance, easily cause formation of knots on the surfaces of cut wounds and no growthof roots, and enable the cutting notches of stems to become black and rot. The special rooting agent for industrial hemp cutting comprises the following raw materials by weight: agar, pimacol, indole-3-butyric acid potassium salt, vitamin B1, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, sodium salicylate, white sugar and purified water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1, weighing agar, pimacol, indole-3-butyric acid potassium salt, vitamin B1, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, sodium salicylate, white sugar and purified water according to parts by mass; and 2, carrying out chelation, and then carryingout cooling for subsequent usage so as to obtain the special rooting agent for industrial hemp cutting. The special rooting agent of the invention is used for rooting of industrial hemp.
