The CBGA-containing plant material is exposed to a fluid in a supercritical state to extract components of the CBGA-containing plant material. A fraction of the extracted components is coalesced. The coalesced fraction of the extracted components includes cannabinoid-containing crystals containing at least one of CBGA and a cannabinoid derivative of CBGA from the carbon dioxide.
