WIPO "industrial hemp"
The invention relates to a method for improving the germination ability of industrial hemp seeds under drought stress by using methyl jasmonate and application. According to the method, the industrial hemp seeds are soaked by using methyl jasmonate. The method comprises the following steps: soaking industrial hemp seeds in a constant-temperature incubator by using methyl jasmonate, then putting the soaked industrial hemp seeds into a petri dish filled with PEG6000, and carrying out dark culture in the constant-temperature incubator. It is proved that seed soaking with jasmonic acid methyl ester with a proper concentration can promote germination of industrial hemp seeds under drought stress, and the germination rate, germination potential, radicle length and fresh weight of the industrial hemp seeds soaked with jasmonic acid with a concentration of 10 [mu] M are increased by 38.10%, 879.60%, 42.86% and 35.60% respectively. The activity of antioxidant enzymes (SOD and POD) in the industrial cannabis sativa seeds under drought stress is enhanced, the content of soluble protein is increased, the content of soluble sugar and MDA is reduced, and the hormone metabolism balance is regulated and controlled, so that the germination of the industrial cannabis sativa seeds is promoted.
