The invention discloses a high-strength fiberboard and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps of: grinding an industrial hemp stalk, and then manufacturing fibers through stewing, millstone milling and dehydration; then adding 10-16 percent of adhesives; and then manufacturing the high-strength fiberboard through hot pressing. In the invention, the fiberboard is initiatively manufactured by utilizing the characteristics of high strength, porosity and low density of the industrial hemp stalk; compared with a similar wooden fiberboard product, the product disclosed by the invention has the advantages of low density, high strength and good load-bearing property; in addition, by implementing the technology disclosed by the invention, not only the wood resources is outstandingly saved and the ecological environment is protected, but also the wastes are changed into valuables, and a new way for the application of industrial hemps is provided; and the invention is beneficial to promoting the further development of an industrial hemp industry and has good social benefit and economic benefit.
