The first 102 and second 104 layers have different densities. Preferred intumescent 106 material are spray coated ammonium polyphosphate, melamine and/or sodium bicarbonate. The preferred second layer 104 comprises hemp shives and resin binder. The preferred panel contains activated carbon powder and additional layer of nonwoven hemp. Also claimed are using the panel for sound insulation and manufacture of the panel.
