The method includes the following steps: utilizing a mobile-phone camera to scan a two-dimensional code to acquire food information of a to-be-detected food, wherein the food information of the to-be-detected food includes a food name of the to-be-detected food; uploading the food information of the to-be-detected food; and adopting a food safety database to carry out data matching on the food information of the to-be-detected food, wherein the food safety database is constructed on the basis of released problem-foodinformation, and includes related information of problem foods, and the related information of the problem foods contains food names of the problem foods. The method utilizes mobile terminals such asmobile phones, greatly facilitates supervision of widespread consumers on food safety, and has great significance for improving food quality.
