Fecha de publicación: 03/03/2014 Fuente: WIPO Food Portada The present invention relates to a system for recycling food waste in an apartment house, capable of recycling food waste produced from an apartment house, which was not utilized as a resource but were degraded over time and then thrown away, and a method for recycling food waste in an apartment house using the system. To this end, the present invention provides a system for recycling food waste in an apartment house and a method for recycling food waste in an apartment house using same, the system comprising: a food crushing unit installed on a sink of a kitchen in each apartment house and crushing input food waste into a mixture of food particles and water; a solid-liquid separation unit separating the food particles from the mixture that is transferred through a transfer pipe coupled to the food crushing unit; a drying unit drying the food particles separated by the solid-liquid separation unit and separating the food particles into vapor and dried food waste; and a heat exchange unit heating water or air by use of latent heat contained in the vapor generated from the drying unit, wherein the drying unit rapidly converts the food waste thrown away in the apartment house into the dried food waste.
