The storage device (2) is connected to the food making device (1), and has food supplying openings (12, 13, 22) and a conveying mechanism (30). The conveying mechanism (30) has a plurality of holding units (32). The holding unit (32) moves along conveying paths. The food supplying method includes food ordering, food making, and food supplying. Upon food ordering, an option of picking up food at a later time can be selected and the time at which the food is picked up can be specified or not specified. Upon food supplying, if an option of picking up food at a later time is selected and the time at which the food is pricked up is not specified, the food is supplied by the storage device (2). If the option of picking up food at a later time is selected and the time at which the food is picked up is specified, the food is supplied by the food making device (1), but if a predetermined time has passed, the food is conveyed to the storage device (2) so as to be supplied thereby. This may reduce the time that is taken by a consumer to wait for food, and if the previously supplied food has not been picked up, the food picking up of a subsequent consumer will not be affected.
