The food material management method of the refrigerator comprises the steps of acquiring food material information and storage position information of the food material, establishing a virtual food material three-dimensional model according tothe food material information, establishing a virtual food material storage space three-dimensional model according to the food material information and the storage position information, and checkingthe virtual food material through the virtual food material storage space three-dimensional model. Because the virtual food material is established according to the real food material information andis same with the real food material in the refrigerator, and the information of the real food material can be obtained through observing the virtual food material. Therefore, a user can realize three-directional virtual multiple-angle observing and choosing for the food material in the refrigerator. The food material which is placed on the surface or the inner part can be observed and chosen, andeven remote observing and choosing can be realized. After observation and choosing, a refrigerator door is opened, and the real food material which corresponds with the observed and chosen virtual food material is taken out, thereby facilitating user operation.
