The present invention provides a method of calculating food mileage and carbon dioxide emissions of food using food crops, comprising: a step (a) of inputting the name of food into a food input unit (100); a step (b) of checking, by a food ingredient determination unit (200), a food crop that is a food ingredient by using the name of the food input in the step (a); a step (c) of checking, by a period determination unit (300), which cycle is one of first to seventh cycles when the state information of the food is input to the period determination unit (300); a step (d) of checking, by a food mileage calculation and carbon dioxide emission calculation unit (400), transport means and a transport distance using a database corresponding to the cycle identified in the step (c) and previous cycles and the food crop identified in the step (b), calculates food mileage using the transport distance, calculates carbon dioxide emissions using the transport means, a carbon dioxide emission coefficient preset with respect to the transport means, and the transport distance, adds up all the calculated food mileage for each food crop for each cycle, and adds up all the calculated carbon dioxide emissions for each food crop for each cycle to calculate food mileage and carbon dioxide emissions for the food input in the step (a); and a step (e) outputting, by an output unit (500), the food mileage and carbon dioxide emissions of the food calculated in step (d) to a terminal. Accordingly, food mileage and carbon dioxide emissions can be calculated and provided. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2022
