PURPOSE: A method for disposing food garbage using microorganisms without power supply is provided to dispose food garbage by a food garbage treater that is light and inexpensive and is hardly broken down without using electricity or a motor. CONSTITUTION: A method for disposing food garbage using microorganisms without power supply comprises: installing a spring unit on a device for opening or closing a cover of a food garbage treater such that the spring unit is connected to vanes of an agitator of the food garbage treater; and rotating the vanes of the agitator by a toothed wheel principle using unwinding force of the spring unit to mix food garbage with microorganisms. A method for disposing food garbage using microorganisms without power supply comprises: installing a spring unit on a food garbage treater such that a rope suspended to the food garbage treater is pulled to wind the spring unit, and the spring unit is connected to vanes of an agitator of the food garbage treater; and rotating the vanes of the agitator by a toothed wheel principle using unwinding force of the spring unit to mix food garbage with microorganisms. A method for disposing food garbage using microorganisms without power supply comprises: installing a pedalling device and a spring unit on a food garbage treater such that the spring unit is wound whenever a user presses the pedalling device in a state that the spring unit is connected to the pedalling device and vanes of an agitator of the food garbage treater; and rotating the vanes of the agitator by a toothed wheel principle using unwinding force of the spring unit to mix food garbage with microorganisms. ©KIPO 2008
