The invention relates to a method for cooking food by using an intelligent food temperature probe. The intelligent food temperature probe comprises a handle, a contact pin arranged at the lower end ofthe handle and a plurality of temperature sensors for food detection which are arranged on the contact pin; a temperature sensor for environment detection is arranged at the joint of the handle and the contact pin; the method comprises the following steps: inserting the contact pin of the intelligent food temperature probe into food, firstly inserting the pin into the food, starting cooking, identifying the position relationship between each temperature sensor for food detection and the food, and averaging the temperature values measured by all temperature sensors for food detection in the food to serve as reference values of the internal temperature of the food; and judging whether the reference value of the internal temperature of the food reaches the reference temperature for cooking the food or not until cooking is finished. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the advantages that: the requirement on the food inserting position of the contact pin is reduced; in the wholecooking process, the internal temperature of food can be dynamically calculated, and the reliability of temperature calculation data is improved.
