The intelligent refrigerator comprises at least one radio frequency identification module, a main control system and a storage chamber comprising at least one food storage area; the food storage areas are in one-to-one correspondence with the radio frequency identification modules; the radio frequency identification modules are used for identifying radio frequency labels which are attached to the food in advance so as to obtain the food information of the food stored in the food storage areas when the food is placed in the food storage areas corresponding to the current radio frequency identification modules; and the main control system is used for sending the food information of the food stored in the food storage areas to an external remote service platform, so that the remote service platform forwards the food information of the food stored in the food storage areas to a mobile terminal corresponding to the intelligent refrigerator so as to provide the food information for a user. According to the technical scheme of the intelligent refrigerator, the food management system and the method of the system for managing food, the user can know the food information of various food stored in the refrigerator more accurately.
