PURPOSE: A food waste leachates treatment apparatus for an incinerator and a method thereof are provided to increase the removal efficiency of nitrogen oxides which are included in the discharging gas that is generated during the incineration of waste in order to increase the concentration of ammonia nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide by acid fermenting the food waste leachates, and reduce the removal costs for nitrogen oxides using the food waste leachates after the acid fermenting instead of using urea solution. CONSTITUTION: A food waste leachates treatment apparatus comprises a food waste leachates settling tank(100), a solid-liquid separator(200), an acid fermentation tank(300), and a food waste leachates supply unit(400). The food waste leachates settling tank collects the food waste leachates that is discharged from the gathered food wastes and precipitates solids in the food waste leachates. The solid-liquid separator discharges the solids outside, separating the solids from the food waste leachates that is discharged from the food waste leachates settling tank by filtering. The acid fermentation tank lets the food waste leachates, which is discharged and collected in a state that is separated with solids, fermented with acid. The food waste leachates supply unit provides the acid ferment food waste leachates to the combustion outlet(2) of an incinerator. The acid fermentation tank comprises a pH sensor, a temperature sensor, an acid solution supply part, a heating part, and a circulating part that cycles the food waste leachates.
