A specific embodiment of the method comprises the steps of inputting a food image to a food classification model in response to detection of a target article in the food image; for each candidate food information group in the candidate food information group set, selecting a candidate food name included in target candidate food information from the candidate food information groups as target food information; for each piece of target food information in the target food information set, in response to received food change information and sub-food images corresponding to the target food information, taking the food change information and the sub-food images corresponding to the target food information as training samples and adding the training samples into a training sample set corresponding to the food classification model; training the food classification model; and inputting a target food image into the trained food classification model to generate food classification information. According to the embodiment, the food settlement efficiency is improved.
