The food image detection method comprises the steps of acquiring a target image; performing preprocessing on the acquired target image; inputting the preprocessed target image into a food image detection model, and acquiring the food feature membership of the target image; comparing the food feature membership with a preset food feature membership threshold; and marking the target image as a food image when the food feature membership is greater than or equal to the preset food feature membership threshold. The food image detection method realizes automatic detection for a food image, is high in food image detection efficiency, can greatly improve the food image selection efficiency, effectively reduces the manual labor intensity and facilitates a user to select a food image quickly and accurately.
