The food delivering system comprises a service end, a food ordering terminal and a food delivering robot which are connected with the service end, wherein the food ordering terminal is used for generating the food ordering information corresponding to a dining user according to a food ordering request and sending the food ordering information to the service end, the service end is used for receiving the food ordering information sent by the food ordering terminal, establishing the matching relationship between the food ordering information and the dining position based on the determined dining position of the dining user and sending the matching relationship to the food delivering robot, and the food delivering robot is used for receiving the matching relationship sent by the service end, moving according to the food ordering information to a food preparation area to acquire food corresponding to the food ordering information and moving with the took food to the dining position. The food delivering system is advantaged in that autonomous food delivering is carried out through the food delivering robot, manpower cost is reduced, and service quality is improved.
