The device (1) for automatically sorting a dish and a food tray according to the present invention separates a dish (20) and a food tray (10) transported through a first tray, and comprises: a horizontal transport unit (100) to horizontally transport the dish (20) and the food tray (10); an tilt transport unit (200) which is connected to the horizontal transport unit (100) and wherein one side of the food tray (10) transported by the horizontal transport unit (100) is dropped, and the food tray (10) is transported in a tilted state; and a food tray transport unit (300) which is connected to the tilt transport unit (200) and comprises a food tray escape prevention wall (310) formed on one side thereof to prevent the food tray (10) from escaping to the outside. According to the device for automatically sorting a dish and a food tray in accordance with the present invention, a structure which automatically separates the dish and the food tray when the dish and the food tray are placed on a dish washer disposed in a public facility can be added to the dish washer to transport the separated dish and food tray to washing devices designed to wash the dish and the food tray according to shapes of the dish and the food tray to wash the dish and the food tray more cleanly and efficiently.
