PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cheese-containing food obtained by filling at least one part of gaps of a base food material having porous gap with cheese food material; and to provide a method for efficiently producing the cheese-containing food via decompression.SOLUTION: The cheese-containing food is obtained by filling at least at part of the gaps of base food material having porous gaps with cheese food material. The method for producing the cheese-containing food comprises filling the inside of each gap of the base food material with the cheese food material. The method comprises a process of impregnating the base food material with cheese-containing food by making the base food material having porous gaps at at least part thereof come in contact to the cheese food material after decompressed or in a state of decompression, or by decompressing the base food material having porous gaps in such a state that the base food material and the cheese food material come in contact with each other. In the novel food, the gaps of the base food material having porous gaps are filled with cheese-containing food material, the food base material and the cheese-containing food material are integrated, and also respective palate feelings of both materials are utilized.
