ABSTRACT
Although poly (silylene arylacetylene) resin (PSA) showed excellent thermal stability, it still has to be improved in terms of its high-temperature oxidation resistance. Different molecular weights of the PSA-VH resins with the end group of Si–H were synthesized. The structure of the resins was characterized, and the density, viscosity, and crystallinity of the resins were measured. ‌The curing process and degree of the resins were investigated. The thermal properties and dielectric properties of the cured resin were determined. The PSA-VH resins offered a broad processing window suitable for multiple molding methods, and they were compatible with a wider range of catalysts. The PSA-VH resins showed high antioxidant properties with the temperature of 5% weight loss (T

d5
) at 569°C in the air.
