The LIFE + Integral Carbon project has been selected for the forthcoming information campaign of the European Commission\'s Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG-CLIMA).
The Directorate-General leads international negotiations on climate, helps the EU to deal with the consequences of climate change and to meet its targets for 2020, as well as develops and implements the EU Emissions Trading System.
In October 2014, European leaders agreed that all sectors should contribute to the EU's 2030 emission reduction target, including the Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry sector.
The LIFE+ Integral Carbon is one of eight LULUCF+Agri projects selected by DG CLIMA to be part of an outreach campaign that will start on December 2016.
