Integral Carbon LIFE+ Science week with colleges from Uclés OD
D.1. Communication and dissemination actions
During National Science Week the first week in November 2015, the Integral Carbon LIFE project aims to present to the public some of its current initiatives showcasing the scientific and technical principles which underpin projects involved with the cultivation of algae, soil ecology, and demonstrating the importance of soil nutrients in the growing of crops.
A series of events has been planned during Science Week which will take place in the colleges surrounding where the prototype is currently located. The Wednesday of this week will see the presentation of several workshops with the students of the Riansares college in Tarancón. Thursday will see a variety of activities taking place in the Fuente de Pedro Naharro college which is the vineyard where the prototype is currently being trialed. And to conclude the week Friday will see the workshops repeated in the surrounding colleges.
The goal of these events is that this information reaches the young who are the best receptors for this kind of knowledge transfer and the initiatives that we are currently developing in the Integral Carbon Life project.
