The method mainly comprises the following steps: immersing watermelon seeds in a 1000 times thiophanate-methyl liquid until seed skins are softened, taking out the seeds, flushing with clear water, blotting up the seeds, arranging the blotted seeds in a germination accelerating band, and putting the germination accelerating band provided with the seeds in a 34-38DEG C constant temperature box or binding the band to a position outside the innermost cloth close to the waist of a body until the mouths of the watermelon seeds are uniformly opened. The above technical scheme can solve the technical defects of low watermelon seed germination rate, many diseases and insect pests of watermelon, and low quality and yield.
