The preparation process comprises adding prepared modified montmorillonite powder into straw papermaking paper pulp,carrying out sufficient dispersion, so that under the interlacing action with straw fibers, a stable three-dimensional network structure with high bonding strength is formed, the strength of paper obtained through papermaking is remarkably improved, papermaking is conducted according to the papermaking ration of 70 g/m, the bursting strength reaches 274 kPa or above, the tearing strength reaches 726 mN or above, and the tensile index reaches 69.8 N.m/g or above. The problems that the paper strength and hand feeling are reduced and the retention rate is low due to addition of mineral fillerin the prior art are solved, and the retention rate reaches 74.5% or above. On one hand, the additional value of straw papermaking is increased; and on the other hand, environmental pollution is reduced, the method is suitable for batch production, and the production cost of enterprises is greatly reduced.2>
