The one or more lighting modules and the driver are arranged in the luminaire housing. The luminaire housing comprises a back plate constituting a back side of the luminaire housing. Each lighting module and the driver are releasably connected to the back plate. The back plate has an opening arranged to accommodate the driver. When connected to the back plate, the driver provides a closure of the opening. The luminaire may be used as a recessed luminaire in an office environment. It is convenient and non-complex in structure, and provides energy efficiency and sustainability.
