The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a method for producing fire-resistant building elements from renewable raw materials, as well as a resulting building element, wherein the building element is water-resistant, diffusion-open, flame-retardant, and free from environmentally harmful additives.
This object is achieved by the features set forth in the claims.
