Vehicles manufactured or used according to sustainability criteria may be characterized via a sustainability vector that satisfies the sustainability criteria. Further, a vehicles sustainability may be validated by one or more computer systems that measure the sustainability of the vehicle, possibly in real-time. Based on the satisfaction level of the sustainability criteria, the computer system may cause other devices, including the vehicle itself, to take corrective actions.
