Each group comprises one or more operational units. The method receives at least one of consumption data and one or more inventory parameters associated with each of the one or more inventory groups. A factual sustainability metric of the one or more inventory groups is determined, based on the received at least one of consumption data and one or more inventory parameters. A model sustainability metric of the one or more inventory groups in at least one model scenario, is also determined. The model scenario comprising modifying at least one of received consumption data and a received inventory parameter, to assess the effect of the modification on the factual sustainability metric.
