The present invention relates to a device and a method for evaluating sustainability of a building life cycle by using an index and a recording medium recording method thereof. The device for evaluating the sustainability of a building life cycle by using an index quantitatively evaluates and estimates the sustainability of the building life cycle in an early stage of construction. The device for evaluating sustainability of a building life cycle by using an index includes: a first storage unit storing a reference environment influence evaluation value on a reference building, a first environment influence factor set digitizing environment influence by each input unit of multiple construction materials, and a second environment influence factor set digitizing the environment influence by each consumption unit of multiple energy sources; an input unit in which multiple construction material input amounts and multiple energy source consumption amounts are input; a first calculation unit calculating the first environment influence evaluation value by the construction material by using the multiple construction material input amount and the first environment influence factor set and calculating the second environment influence evaluation value by the energy source by using the second environment influence factor set and the multiple energy source consumption amounts, wherein the first calculation unit also calculates a whole process environment influence evaluation value by adding the first environment influence evaluation value and the second environment influence evaluation value; and a first output unit dividing the reference environment influence evaluation value stored in the first storage unit by the whole process environment influence evaluation value calculated in the first calculation unit and deducting the environment influence index, wherein the first output unit also outputs the detected environment influence index.
