The invention belongs to the technical field of building material sustainability evaluation, and particularly discloses a building material sustainability evaluation and optimization system based on big data, and the system comprises the steps: obtaining the energy consumption data, waste discharge data and waste utilization data of a target building material in each production process corresponding to each production record in an evaluation time period; therefore, the waste utilization data is brought into the sustainability evaluation index to realize comprehensive evaluation of the sustainability of the building material, so that the accuracy of the evaluation result is greatly improved, a comprehensive and reliable reference can be provided for subsequent sustainability optimization, the effectiveness of the sustainability optimization is guaranteed, invalid optimization is avoided, and the evaluation efficiency is improved. And meanwhile, the sustainability supporting condition corresponding to the building material production site is obtained during the sustainability evaluation of the building material, and the sustainability supporting condition is taken as the influence weight of the sustainability evaluation index, so that the rationality of the evaluation result is improved to the maximum extent, and the evaluation result is more applicable.
