Abstract

An automated or computer-implemented sustainability management method and
system implemented as a node in a blockchain network are provided. Any and all
sensor-measured data from energy assets at various locations and carried over
proprietary protocols or otherwise, are standardized and automatically streamed to the
sustainability management system. The sensor-measured data is used by the
sustainability management system to generate carbon emission report and other
report or data, and by a verification entity to verify or certify the carbon emission report
and other report or data. The sustainability management system is also connectable
to carbon registry and carbon exchange for certification and transaction.
