The method comprises steps wherein, a user first compares and establishes assessment criteria from tools provided in the system. Further, the system then refines the criteria based on certain conditions and prepares a set of queries to be assessed and filled by the user for completion of surveying. Furthermore, the system then assesses the fed input by the user and creates a report based on the input. The system for assessing sustainability of civil Infrastructure comprises of an input unit preferably a graphical user interface cumulated with a storage unit and a processing unit, wherein the processing unit collects fed data from the storage unit and processed further to generate a rate or scoring of the structural habitat in a form of a visual report to be displayed in the graphical user interface.<>
