Non-renewable resources conservation, global warming, carbon emission, environmental protection and social well being have drawn worldwide interest. Some important earth summits: Agenda 21, Kyoto Protocol, COP 21, have taken place in the recent past to implement the action plan towards conserving the environment as well as social well being. The limit state of sustainability(100) is model developed to evaluate the sustainability of the building systems. The five components considered are sustainability principles in building design(101), sustainability principles in material selection(102), durability of built environment(103), sustainable preference of handling C&D waste(104) and sustainable management of construction workforce(105). These five components are quantified to establish the practices adopted in construction of building systems and thereby promoting the environmental friendly construction techniques.
