PROCESSED FOOD AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF PROCESSED FOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed food enabling a person with a low deglutition/mastication function to easily eat, and enjoy meal in a state close to a form in which a normal food is eaten, improved in color of food materials, and capable of improving appearance of cooking, and to provide a production method of the processed food.SOLUTION: A processed food is obtained by forming a pasty food material P by pulverizing food materials F to an extent of forming a prescribed shape and becoming pasty through addition of force, forming a molded body M made by molding the pasty food materials P, and cutting the molded body M in a prescribed shape to form solid food materials 2. The solid food materials 2 which are obtained by molding the pasty food materials P retain texture of some extent when being eaten, and are easily crushed and become pasty food materials. A person with a low deglutition/mastication function can eat at ease, and enjoy meal in a state close to a form in which a normal food is eaten.
