The invention discloses a wireless sensor network design method for precision agriculture. The method includes the following steps: step 1, establishing a wireless channel propagation loss model; step2, proposing a networking manner of a clustered limited ad hoc network, and designing a communication manner of double-chain cross communication; step 3, designing a fast energy self-supplying methodbased on solar energy MPPT; step 4, merging node data by using a spatial correlation-based compressed sensing theory; step 5, designing a network service quality target-driven agricultural wireless sensor network system evaluation strategy and evaluation method; and step 6, designing WSN middleware for agricultural Internet of Things. The wireless sensor network design method for precision agriculture disclosed by the invention studies a wireless sensor network key technology for precision agriculture, and also introduces a wireless sensor network system performance evaluation method, a middleware design method for Internet of Things, universal node hardware and software design methods and a typical application system.
