The invention discloses a crop data acquisition device and method for precision agriculture, and the device comprises a motion carrier, an image acquisition mechanism for dynamic image acquisition is fixed on the motion carrier, the image acquisition mechanism is disposed on an external network server, and a housing is fixed on the motion carrier. A spectrum camera, a camera and an illumination sensor are arranged in the shell, a central processing module and a wireless transmission module are further arranged in the shell, and the spectrum camera and the wireless transmission module are both electrically connected with the central processing module. The central processor module uploads the received spectrogram shot by the spectrum camera and the crop object map of the camera to a network server through the wireless transmission module. According to the invention, the image acquisition mechanism is used for acquiring images of crops in the greenhouse and uploading the images to the network server, so that the growth state of the crops can be conveniently obtained through systematic analysis, and a large amount of labor force is saved.
