The pellets are used as soil conditioning product, in particular as soil liming product, such as for deacidifying of the soil. The pellets are spheroidal/lens-shaped pellets comprising a source of calcium and optionally one or more additives. The pellets comprise at least 60 wt%, preferably 70 wt% of CaO, based on the total weight of the pellets. The pellets have an average size lower than 10 mm, measured by sieve analysis, and a granule density equal to or higher than 1.60 g/cm3, preferably equal to or higher than 1.70 g/cm3, measured by mercury picnometry. The present invention is further related to a precision farming method.
