ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates to a smart agriculture. system that utilizes computer vision andmachine learning for automated plant disease identification and classification. The systemcaptures plant images, preprocesses them to enhance quality, and extracts relevant features foranalysis. The feature extraction and segmentation module processes images to identify criticalattributes such as leaf shape, color variations, texture anomalies, and lesion patterns usingadvanced image processing techniques. The computer vision-based disease classification moduleapplies deep learning and machine learning algorithms to classify plants into healthy or diseasedcategories based on extracted features. The results are evaluated and presented through a userfriendlyinterface, offering farmers real-time insights. The system suggests appropriate solutionsfor disease management, enabling early intervention and precision farming. This inventionaddresses challenges such as image variability, environmental conditions, and real-timeprocessing. By improving crop health monitoring and reducing dependency on manualinspections, it enhances agricultural productivity and sustainability.
