ABSTRACTTitle: Cotton-Picking Robot Present invention is related to smart and precision farming, more particularly the invention is related to agriculture sector targeted for cotton picking, harvesting automation involving advanced robotics computer vision, edge computing and artificial Intelligence. The system of the present invention Cotton-Picking Robot comprise of at least one Intelligent Cotton-Picking System module (ICPS) and at least one Robot frame. The Robot frame comprises of XYZ gantry constituted of X, Y, Z axis arms. First end of the Z axis arm is connected to belt driven mechanism driven by stepper motor for movement of Z axis arm. The second end of Z axis is configured to hold at least one cotton-picking mechanism and suction mechanism. The Cotton-Picking Robot can differentiate between raw cotton bolls and ripen cotton bolls. with help of high-resolution cameras of computer vision system. Once ripen cotton boll is identified, a picking mechanism picks up cotton boll and suction mechanism stores it in storage container. Ref. Fig.: FIG. 3A
