Some embodiments provide a vehicle inspection system having a vehicle exterior inspection system and/or a vehicle undercarriage inspection system. The vehicle exterior inspection system may comprise one or multiple sensor arrays, each with one or more sensors of one or more types. The vehicle undercarriage inspection system may also include one or more sensors of one or more types. The exterior and undercarriage inspection systems may be used individually or in combination. Some sensors part of such systems may be controlled to collect data concurrently or simultaneously. Data collected by sensors of the vehicle inspection system may be included in a vehicle condition report and/or analyzed, sometimes using machine learning techniques, to determine the condition of the vehicle being inspected. Any defects identified during such analysis may be included in the vehicle condition report.
