The pen has a pen body including a tactile feedback unit and may include pen circuitry adapted to provide a communication connection between the pen and a touch panel controller. The pen may be adapted to receive a tactile control signal from the touch panel controller and the tactile feedback unit may be adapted to provide a haptic response based on the tactile control signal.
