The digital mirror may include a camera that captures content data of a person or other subject. A portion the person's body may then be augmented by a digital representation of an item of clothing or other physical object overlaid over the image of the person's body to simulate the appearance of trying on clothing and other objects. By augmenting the portion of the user's body with the digital representation, the digital mirror allows users to digitally try objects they see when browsing e-commerce platforms.
