Fuente: Wipo "digitalization" In order to handle a central bank digital currency, a cash handling apparatus includes: a cash depositing port for depositing cash; a cash recognition circuit that recognizes a kind and authenticity of the cash; a cash storage that stores the cash; a digital cash depositing unit for depositing digital cash being a central bank digital currency for which one piece of data is issued per predetermined unit amount; and a digital cash storage that stores the digital cash. The cash handling apparatus accepts depositing of at least one of cash and digital cash. In a cash depositing process, cash deposited from the cash depositing port is recognized by the cash recognition circuit and stored in the cash storage. In a digital cash depositing process, data of digital cash inputted from the digital cash depositing port is stored in the digital cash storage.
