The system includes a data processing subsystem to extract multiple features from an input dataset received from an external big data source and selects one or more features by a ranking of the multiple features using a feature selection technique. A model training subsystem to provide the one or more features selected as an input to a cyber security-based prediction model, to train the cybersecurity-based prediction model with the one or more features using an optimization technique and to obtain one or more optimal weight parameters of the cybersecurity-based prediction model by utilization of the optimization technique for training the cyber security-based prediction model. A cybersecurity prediction subsystem to utilize the cyber security-based prediction model for classification of the input dataset into two or more classes corresponding to a level of cyber threat.FIG.1
