ML and BDA are both evolutionary fields of computing and the developments in these fields are complementing each other. The ever-changing data landscape in modern digital world have resulted in newer ways of data processing frameworks in order to get meaningful insights, which are unprecedented. This invention presents a detailed review on latest developments in ML algorithms for Big Data Processing. In later section key challenges associated with application of ML, based approaches are also discussed. ML based Big Data Processing has gained popularity and new developments are on the rise for efficient data processing. A system and method for analyzing a computer program includes performing a static analysis on a program to determine property correctness. Test cases are generated and conducted to provide test output data. Hypotheses about aspects of execution of the program are produced to classify paths for test cases to determine whether the test cases have been encountered or otherwise. In accordance with the hypothesis, new test cases are generated to cause the program to exercise behavior which is outside of the encountered test cases.
