Abstract


Method and System for Big Data and Image-Guided Intelligent Robotic Surgery for Eyes



This invention proposes a method and system for big data and image-guided intelligent robotic 5

surgery for eyes. The invention comprises (i) Historical big data and ocular images storage

management on the local terminal, intranet, internet and cloud, (ii) Intelligent ocular image

analysis system to diagnose eye diseases and suggest the ocular disease lesions to operate and

(iii) Intelligent fusion of the historical big data from the system and the suggestions from the

ocular image analysis for a more practical operation plan for the robots. The invention 10

integrates intelligent analysis of ocular image modalities and the historical big data through

fusion algorithms, machine learning algorithms, and statistical algorithms (collectively called

“i CURE” approach ) to form comprehensive intelligent practical operation plan for the robotics.
