The invention provides an industrial added value current prediction method and system based on electric power big data, wherein the method comprises the steps: obtaining a data set of a preset historical time period, and the data set comprises economic statistical data and electric power data; based on the data set of the historical time period and a plurality of pre-constructed industrial added value prediction models, utilizing a prediction method to predict industrial added values of the historical time period to obtain industrial added value prediction values of different combinations formed by the prediction method and the plurality of industrial added value prediction models; respectively calculating corresponding mean square prediction errors according to the industrial added value prediction values of the different combinations, and comparing the mean square prediction errors of the different combinations to determine an optimal combination; and performing current prediction on the industrial added value of the target period based on the optimal combination. According to the invention, the optimal combination obtained through the technical scheme can be used for more timely and accurate current prediction of the industrial added value.
